BEIJING, Mar. 8 (China IP News) -- On March 1, Shen Changyu, Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office of PRC (SIPO) met with Jesper Kongstad, Director General of Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) in Beijing. Shen noted that China and Denmark had kept sound cooperative relations and made remarkable achievements in patent examination and Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) programs. He also expressed his hope that this meeting would lay a solid foundation for further cooperation, and create a better IP environment for Danish entrepreneurs to invest in China. Mr. Kongstad pointed that Sino-Danish IP cooperation would be beneficial not only for deepening their friendship, but for promoting economic development in two countries. He also hoped that DKPTO would strengthen cooperation with SIPO in IP utilization and law enforcement.
