The State Intellectual Property Office of China announced the list of 17th China Patent Award recently, among which “A heavy oil and residual hydroconversion catalyst and its preparation method” by Sinopec Corp. and Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals won the Gold Prize of China Patent Award. The 8 other projects of Sinopec won excellence prize of the Award.
 

The patent “A heavy oil and residual hydroconversion catalyst and its preparation method” builds a proper micro-spatial steric structure through different types of catalytic reaction centers, prolonging the life of catalysts.
